How to Begin Making a Lanyard Box
- 1). Cut two identical length pieces of lanyard from two different colors of lanyard string.
- 2). Lay one piece of lanyard atop the other in the shape of a cross, with the center of the top lanyard atop the center of the bottom lanyard.
- 3). Create two loops over the top lanyard by bending the ends of the bottom lanyard up and over the top lanyard, parallel to each other.
- 4). Weave the top lanyard through the bottom lanyard by passing each end of the top lanyard over the loop closest to it, and through the other loop. The two ends will go over and through the opposite loop at the other end.
- 5). Grab one end of each lanyard in each hand and pull out to complete the opening knot of a box.
- 6). Create more knots and continue your lanyard by repeating steps 3 through 5.
