Bad Boy Attraction
Attraction to the bad guy, The-bad-ass
The bad boy attraction has two paths of understanding.
The attraction to Boy boys is the result of a woman being less in-touch with her pre frontal lobe and she is paying more attention to amygdala the primitive part of the brain.
At a more primitive time of our existence the true catch was the Bad boy.
Let me explain, while in a tribal society, the best catch for a woman was the guy that was the best at providing and protecting; he was "The bad ass" of the tribe.
In the old world of the American Indian tribes just a few 100 years ago, who was the man/worrier getting all the attention from the ladies and the men of the tribe?
The Bad Ass.
Why?
He was bringing in the best kills from the hunting parties and for that, he was admired by the other men for his superior hunting skills, When the tribe was attracted by warring tribes, this same man was the best at protecting the tribe. He was in-effect the toughest guy in the tribe and the true alpha male.
The woman attracted to this type of a man, "the bad Ass" or "bad Boy", in today's world is merely following their primitive brain. The amygdala is the fight or fight part of the brain.
Those ladies who have figured out who is the true catch in today's world are properly in touch with their more advanced part of their brain.
By using their frontal lobe, they completely understand that the man you want today is the intelligent and financially successful guy. For he is the one in today's world that can offer the food and protect you. He is best at providing security!
The second part of this bad boy attraction can be tied to the imprinting and life experiences while they were under 8 yrs old. The attraction to the Bad Ass could be a number of things stemming from a lack or a father figure to living in an abusive environment, to having such a poor self-image that she feels a need to be with someone who treat her poorly as she thinks she desires it or can't get any better. Some or all of these factors contribute to the attraction.
