How to Set the Color of Dyed Fabrics
- 1). Remove the fabric from the dye.
- 2). Rinse the fabric in warm water. Hold the fabric right under the faucet with the water running over it.
- 3). Gradually change the heat of the water until it is as cold as possible.
- 4). Agitate the fabric as you hold it under the water. Work until the entire piece of fabric is cold and the water runs clear.
- 5). Hang the fabric out to dry.
