How to Migrate Data From a Palm to iPhone
- 1). Click "Go" on your Mac's desktop and click "Applications." Double-click "Palm Desktop 4.1" to run the Palm application. Click to highlight the contacts in the address book of the Palm Desktop, and click "File" on the menu.
- 2). Click "Export" and "Addresses." Click the Format menu and click "vCard." Click "OK" to export the Palm contacts to your Mac's desktop.
- 3). Double-click "Address Book" in the Applications window to run the application. Click "File" and "Import" and click the vCard file in the Open window. Click "Choose" to import the contacts into the application.
- 4). Plug the iPhone device cable into the iPhone and into your computer's USB port to open iTunes.
- 5). Click the iPhone tab in iTunes, and click the "Info" tab. Click "Sync Contacts from" and click "Address Book." Click "All contacts" and click "Apply."
- 6). Select "Controls" at the top of the iTunes menu and click "Eject" to unplug the iPhone.

- 2). Click "Start," "All Programs" and "Palm Desktop." Connect your Palm device to your PC's USB port via USB cable.
- 3). Click "Sync" to synchronize your contacts from the Palm mobile device to the Palm Desktop software. Click "File," "Export" and "Addresses" to export your contacts as vCards.
- 4). Click "Desktop" as the save destination in the Save window, and click "Save."
- 5). Click "Start," "All Programs" and "Outlook" to open your mail manager.
- 6). Click "File" at the top of the Outlook menu and click "Import and Export." Select "Import a vCard file" and click "Next." Click the vCard file located on your desktop in the "Open" window, and click "Open."
- 7). Open iTunes, and plug your iPhone docking cable into the USB port of the computer and into the iPhone. Click the iPhone's tab in iTunes and click "Info." Click "Sync Contacts from" and click "Microsoft Outlook."
- 8). Click "All Contacts" and click "Apply." Click "Controls" at the top of the iTunes menu and click "Eject."
