Ideas for a Beach Bachelorette Party

    Decorations

    • Look for any décor with a fish or seashell pattern if you want to turn your backyard into a beach-themed bachelorette party. Cover tables with beach towels or water-themed tablecloths to add a cheerful beach background to the scene. Add glass bowls filled with sand and seashells as centerpieces.

Hang colorful fish-themed garlands or party lights from any fences or railings. Decorate any empty corners with kiddy pools filled with water, drape beach towels over plain chairs and hang cardboard surfboards from the fence. You can also decorate with any tiki torches, beach balls or any snorkeling equipment you have on hand.

    Refreshments

    • Go with fancy seafood or beach picnic-style refreshments for your beach bachelorette party, depending on your budget. Seafood can include shrimp cocktail, coconut shrimp, crab cakes, fish kabobs and lobster rolls.

Picnic food can include tropical fruit salad, watermelon fruit salad, sea cucumber salad, fish-shaped finger sandwiches and any kind of potato chips.

Fun desserts are milkshakes, smoothies, beach ball-shaped cookies and chocolate seashells. Drinks can include lemonade, iced tea, diet soda, fruit smoothies, fruity cocktails and fruity wines.

    Entertainment

    • Mix popular bachelorette games with beach games to entertain guests at your beach bachelorette party. Icebreakers can include a bride-themed word search, purse scavenger hunt and a "Bride and Groom" trivia game.

Print out a poster of a hot guy to play "Pin the Swimsuit on the Hunk." Throw a bridal limbo contest where each player has to limbo without tearing the toilet paper veil she's wearing. Have a hula contest to find the best "wedding dancer" and a Don Ho karaoke contest to find the best "wedding singer."

    Favors

    • Party favors are a popular way for hosts to let bachelorette party guests know their attendance is appreciated. The favors can also serve as prizes for the winner of each party game. Add seashell-shaped candies to mini gift satchels and tie bows around each one to provide a sweet treat.

Give each guest a thick beach towel to provide an impressive present. You could also give guests a set of fish-shaped decorative soaps, an ocean-scented votive candle or a mini-bottle of sea-salt body scrub.
