How to Hook Up a Headset to a XBox Live
- 1). Charge your headset before using it. Connect the USB cable to your XBox; connect the other end of the cable to your headset. The headset takes approximately six hours to fully charge. Once all four lights begin blinking simultaneously, the headset is charged.
- 2). Turn on your XBox and disconnect the USB charging cable. Turn your headset on by holding the power button located in front of the ear piece.
- 3). Press the connect button on the front of your XBox console and then press and hold the connect button on your headset for two seconds. When the "Ring of Light" on your console flashes, the headset is connected.
- 4). Sign-in to your XBox Live account. Set up your game and wear the headset. Adjust the volume using the headset volume knobs, if desired.
