How to Set a Honeywell Mercury Thermostat
- 1). Locate the "Mode" switch on the top left side of your Honeywell thermostat. Move the switch into the appropriate position to access the desired mode; choose between "Cool," "Heat" and "Off."
- 2). Locate the "Fan Speed" switch to the right of the thermostat's "Mode" switch. Move the switch into the desired position; select the "On" position to run the fan continuously or the "Auto" position to run the fan only when the unit is actively heating or cooling.
- 3). Locate the "Temperature Setting" knob in the center of the thermostat. Rotate the knob until the pointed arrow indicates the desired temperature.
