How to Install Active Shield
- 1). Navigate to the official McAfee website and order McAfee Antivirus Plus, McAfee Internet Security or McAfee Total Protection. You can either download the program either directly from the website, or order a CD of the program that is mailed to you.
- 2). Click "Buy Now" when you have chosen a program and fill out personal and payment information when prompted, then click "submit order."
- 3). Click the installation file after the program has finished downloading to your computer, or insert the installation CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive and wait for the installation program to launch.
- 4). Follow the on-screen instructions, including entering in your product key when prompted. Restart the computer for the installation to take effect.
