Pregnancy Defined Letter by Letter - Presenting the Letter G

This week, using the letter G in pregnancy, the obvious word is gynecologist.
He is the one that gives guidance and general information as to how much weight you should gain.
Your health care professional advises you on foods and nutrition and advises you on how to avoid gluttony and stands guard to protect you from excess girth.
Listen to his generous advice.
If you are feeling a little low and have lost your glow, you're feeling ghastly and anything but glamorous, be gallant and give it another go.
There are good days and just OK days.
Approach each day with an attitude of glee and a grateful heart and no gloom will last very long.
Work in your garden or engage in a little silly gossip and don't let garbage gather in your mind.
Grasp the wonder of the gift germinating inside you.
Be sure the maternity clothes you wear are good-looking garments and when you get a glimpse of your reflection, that is glorifies your growth.
Kick back and enjoy wearing something a little gaudy from time to time, pop a gumdrop in your mouth and stay away from grouchy people.
Make sure your glass is half full, surround yourself with good-natured people and guard against gloom.
As you gallivant through these nine months and time seems to gallop by you will be wondering what the gender of your baby will be.
Boy or girl? For those who don't choose to gravitate toward knowing before the birth there is the element of a gamble at the gala event in the delivery room.
To be sure, this new life is a Godsend and grandparents will gloat with gusto at the birth of a new generation.
After a grueling delivery, all will proclaim the baby gorgeous and want to gobble up their little cheeks and toes.
Guard against goof up's no matter how well intentioned.
It is hard to grasp how quickly they grow as you guide the little ones through life.
As you gaze into the eyes of your gorgeous, gentle geniuses and grasp their little fingers you know that love is the glue that is more precious that gold.
Too soon, it seems, you have to get them to graduation day and grant them their own lives.
Be genuinely glad for this, for each day we gravitate toward the future.
