Neff Cooker Overview
Range cookers are becoming more and more popular for both modern and traditional kitchen.
This is in part due to the practicality of a range cooker, but also because of the style, chunkiness and general look of it.
Here are some of the features that Neff cookers have to offer: The Defrost function has a hot air fan, which circulates unheated air through the oven to speed up defrosting times.
This feature is also ideal for delicate foods such as fish and poultry.
The cookers also have conventional cooking heat sources at both the top and at the bottom of the oven, which means that the heat can travel to the middle of the oven by natural conduction.
This is particularly ideal when baking pastries and scones.
As well as top and bottom heat at the same time, there is also the option of just using heat from the bottom of the oven, which allows you to have more focussed heat and control.
This particular method of cooking is best for foods that need the underneath to be crispy such as pizza bases and pastry cases.
The full surface grill compartment can be found in the roof of the oven.
This particular area of the Neff cooker by a thermostat is controlled so that the correct temperature can be maintained easily.
On the Pyrolytic and range from Neff, there is a hot air feature, which means that a fan draws air from the inside of the oven.
It then heats the air up and forces it back into the oven area to ensure that heat is evenly distributed.
There are three range cookers available in the Neff cooker selection.
The F3430 is available only in stainless steel and has a single multifunction oven with eight functions.
The oven is easy to clean because it is made of smooth, hard wearing enamel and has catalytic roof, side and back liners.
This particular range cooker has three removable cast iron pan supports and six gas burners on the hob.
It has an energy efficiency rating of B so it is not the absolute best for energy efficiency, but will still save a substantial amount of energy and therefore money compared to an older cooker.
The main difference between the three models is the type of oven that they have.
The F3430 as mentioned before has a single multifunction oven with eight functions.
The F3460 has two usable oven capacities: a 62 litre and a 30 litre.
The F3470 has three oven capacities.
The one on the lower left is the hot air main oven, which has the defrost feature included.
The upper left oven capacity has conventional top and bottom heating, separate top and bottom heating and a full surface grill.
And the upper right oven capacity also has conventional top and bottom heating, separate top and bottom heating, full surface grill.
The oven capacities are 62 litres, 30 litres, and 26 litres respectively, giving this range cooker the most useable oven space out of the three Neff cookers available.
