How to Do a Wet Roller Hair Wrap
- 1). Wash your hair with a moisturizing, de-tangling shampoo and conditioner. Let the conditioner set in your hair for five minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
- 2). Comb your hair to de-tangle it from the roots down after washing it.
- 3). Part your hair into rows; the first row runs down the center of your head. Continue parting your hair into columns on each side of the first row. Each column must be about the width of your curlers.
- 4). Tie each row securely using a hair tie to prevent them from falling out of place while you work.
- 5). Apply hair styling gel or wax to your first length of hair. Holding the tip of the length of hair, place the roller on top of the hair. Wet hair will stick to the magnetic area of the curler. Roll the curler up your hair toward yourself until you reach your scalp; secure the roller before moving on to the next row.
- 6). Dry your hair with a hair dryer or let your hair dry naturally once all of the curlers are in place.
- 7). Remove the curlers after your hair is dry by unrolling them without tugging on your hair or pulling the curls out of shape.
- 8). Comb your hair to loosen the ringlets into softer curls and style.
