How to Manually Configure Norton AntiVirus to Scan in Another Program
- 1). Open Norton AntiVirus and click "Scan Now" in the software interface.
- 2). Select "Run Custom Scan" from the Options list.
- 3). Select "Folder Scan" and browse the computer for the program folder that you want to scan. Many programs will be stored in the Program Files folder on the main (C:) hard drive. In the browser window, navigate to the C drive and open the "Program Files" folder. Once there, select the program folder that represents the program you want to scan.
- 4). Press "Finish." The software will now scan only the specified program.
