- 1). Launch VMWare Player. Click the virtual machine on the list on the left side of the window, then click "Edit virtual machine settings."
- 2). Click the "Add" button at the bottom of the window if you do not see a device named "Network Adapter." Click "Network Adapter" on the hardware list, then click "Next." If a network adapter is present on the list already, click it.
- 3). Click the radio button labeled "NAT." This allows the virtual network adapter to share an Internet connection with the host computer.
- 4). Place a check in the box labeled "Connect at power on."
- 5). Click "Finish" if you added a new network adapter, then click "OK." Click "OK" if you edited an existing network adapter.
