- 1). Open iTunes on your computer.
- 2). Click "File" and select "Add to Library."
- 3). Locate the audio file you recorded and want to transfer to your iPod and click the "Choose" button.
- 4). Connect your iPod to an available USB 2.0 port on your computer using an Apple USB connection cable. Your iPod will appear under the "Devices" heading on the left side of the iTunes window.
- 5). Find the recording you just imported in your iTunes Library. Drag the file icon to the link for your iPod under the "Devices" heading on the left side of the iTunes window.
- 6). Click the "Eject" button beside the link to your iPod on the left side of the iTunes window. Wait until your iPod screen reads "OK to Disconnect," then unplug the Apple USB connection cable. You can now play the recording from your iPod.
