Prevent Pimples and Keep Them From Coming Back!

Take a good look at your face.
Do you like what you see? If you don't its most likely because of acne, otherwise known as pimples.
Its amazing how you can have such a clear, beautiful face one day and wake up the next morning to see one or two blemishes on your cheeks or your forehead.
After seeing that, your first thought is to get rid of it and to prevent pimples from coming back.
In order to prevent pimples, you need to treat your face differently from the rest of your body.
When you take a shower you normally use soaps that contain chemicals, fragrances, and/or deodorants that can be very harsh to your face.
The different chemicals in these soaps can also leave a detergent film behind.
This protective film that is made to keep you smelling nice, will actually irritate your skin and clog your pores.
You need to wash your face with something non-comedogenic and free of fragrances and impurities.
The temperature of the water used to wash your face is also important.
Water temperature should be lukewarm.
When the water is too hot you can risk dehydrating your skin and making it more sensitive to sun damage.
When its too cold, you risk drying the skin out.
That's probably the reason why sometimes your face may feel a little tight or dry after you wash it.
Exfoliation is great for your skin and can be a vital weapon in the fight to prevent pimples.
There are products on the market that have tiny beads or very small grains within the soap that are used to dig deep in the skin to better clean the pores, and wash away dead skin cells.
Clogged pores from dirt and dead skin cells are part of what causes pimples in the first place.
Keeping the skin moisturized is important for preventing the skin from looking older and to keep it from being dry.
From reading this information, you should now realize that you need to be careful about what you put on your face.
The same rule applies to moisturizers and lotions.
You should always use something that is non-comedogenic, and free from harmful fragrances and impurities.
Try to find something with ingredients that are good for preventing pimples and toning the skin like benzoyl peroxide, alpha-hydroxy acid, and glycolic acid.
