Acne Tips From Rachel

Rachel is a mother of two beautiful daughters.
Being a homemaker, this person had time for the kids, clean the house, prepare the food and go to the gym.
This person had acne a few years ago and knows how bad it can be.
The lessons learned from this experience made this woman more conscious of the face that is checked in the mirror everyday.
If people asked Rachel how to take care of acne, the reply will simply be prevention because treatment will take months before any improvements can be seen.
Here are some of the tips that this mother could give other adults.
  1. It is best to always wash the face with water and soap.
This should be done to remove any excess dirt the person may have gotten while sleeping through the night and when moving around the house.
  2. Rachel sweats a lot in the gym especially when joining a group activity.
This is the reason that this woman always had a towel around to wipe it from the face and body.
  3. The follicles in the hair also come into contact with invisible germs and bacteria in the atmosphere just like the fingers when it touches things.
It is best to wear a headband when working out so that it will not also get in contact with the face.
The individual should wash the hair and face using soap and shampoo to remove these germs.
  4. Touching the face often can also cause acne.
The person should wash the hands using soap or a hand sanitizer so this will not happen.
  5. Believe it or not, having the right clothing on can also prevent acne.
Tests have shown that people who workout should have attire made of 100% that has been known to absorb sweat better than any other fabric.
  6. Getting a little sunshine in the morning is good for the individual but getting too much can cause pimples, acne or skin cancer.
Wearing a hat, sunglasses and applying sunscreen before going out the door, can prevent this.
The six tips mentioned by Rachel is not a guarantee that this will not happen.
This is because there are other factors that come into play which scientists have not been able to pinpoint yet.
Given the dilemma, this is the time that the person must find a home remedy for acne.
The individual doesn't have to make this but simply buy it in the supermarket or grocery then just follow the instructions to properly apply it.
One thing that has been known to work are water based skin care products.
There are many manufacturers who produce this so it will not be that difficult to find in the display shelf.
The most popular are namely benzyl peroxide, alpha-hydroxy acid, tree oil and salicylic acid.
The effectiveness of water-based solutions has forced some companies to switch from oil-based ingredients in order to compete with those who are doing very well.
The individual should read the instructions before applying this to the face.
The improper use may do more harm than good making the person spend more just to fix this problem.
Acne is a skin disorder that may happen to men or women.
Early detection is key so that the person can rely on a home remedy.
