How to Make Ear-Drying Drops

    • 1). Make a drying mixture using one tsp. rubbing alcohol and one tsp. white vinegar. Tilt your head and pour half of the mixture into one ear. Allow it to sit for about one minute, let it drain completely, then apply the remainder of the mixture to the other ear.

    • 2). Mix one tsp. white vinegar and one tsp. hydrogen peroxide together if you find that the alcohol mixture burns too much. Apply this mixture and allow it to sit before draining in the same way.

    • 3). Wipe the outer part of the ear canal gently with a clean cotton ball to remove anything left inside. Never insert anything all the way into your ear canal, since this could break or irritate the skin inside.
