Why Would I Need a Large Kitchen Stove?

    Rethink family meals

    • Spending less on eating out means cooking more, and a larger kitchen stove could mean less time in front of one. Some newer electric stoves have quicker boil times due to more efficient burners and electrical components. Juggling pots between burners may not be necessary with a larger stove that provides more burners. Larger stoves come with larger ovens if purchased as a range and not separate components. Purchasing a more efficient stove could even cut back on monthly utility costs, making up for the cost of the purchase.

    Convenience cooking

    • A larger kitchen stove can accommodate cooking and prep for next week's meals. If the family cook needs to prepare soups or dishes for future meals and fix dinner at the same time, the convenience of a large stove becomes obvious. Instead of moving between an outdoor grill and a small stove, grilling meats while boiling or simmering dinner dishes can happen on a larger stove that includes a grill. Cooking an entire meal at one time is possible with a larger stove.

    Start a new business

    • Taking on a catering project or starting a new catering or bakery business requires a large stove. A larger stove provides more room to cook by including more burners and larger oven capacity. Some larger ranges come with two ovens---one for baking and the other for warming---or may have digital timing programs that control burners, ovens and self-cleaning. More cooking space and the ability to time and adjust temperatures provides the entrepreneur with more ways to meet deadlines and the possibility of doing more catering or baking. Additional business opportunities with a large stove include canning and candy making.
