- 1). Wash the molds before using for the first time. Add a drop of dish detergent to warm water and scrub with a non-abrasive sponge.
- 2). Prepare the ingredients for your recipe. Preheat the oven.
- 3). Place the mold on a baking sheet. This will make it easier to remove the mold from the oven without spilling or burning yourself.
- 4). Pour the mixture directly in the silicone mold. Your rarely need to use cooking spray but you can spray a thin layer over the inner surfaces.
- 5). Place the the baking sheet in your oven. When your food has finished baking, remove the baking sheet and put it on a heat resistant surface to cool. This can take between 15 to 30 minutes depending on the recipe.
- 6). Remove the baked goods by giving the mold a gentle twist. They usually slide right on out. You can use plastic or rubber utensils to remove the finished product.
- 7). Wash the silicone mold with warm water and a drop of dish detergent, or put it in the dishwasher.
