How to Make a Chain Slave Bracelet
- 1). Measure the desired length around your wrist. Cut three pieces of chain to this length. Open a jump ring by twisting slightly. Slide the first chain link of each piece onto the ring. Slide one half of the clasp onto the ring and close. Repeat for opposite end.
- 2). Find the middle link of each piece of your chain bracelet. Use a jump ring to attach the middle link of the first piece to the middle link of the second piece. Use other jump ring to attach the middle link of the third piece to the same link on the second chain.
- 3). Measure the length from the top of your wrist to up and around the palm side of your middle finger and back down to the top of your wrist. Do not wrap or coil the chain around your finger. Measure with your fingers bent, to ensure that you will have room to bend your hand when wearing the slave bracelet. Cut a piece of chain matching this measurement.
- 4). Drape the chain up and around the palm side of your middle finger evenly, so the ends are even and lay on top of your wrist. Locate the links, one from each side, that touch the top of your knuckle. Use a jump ring to hook these two links together. Halfway between that ring and your wrist attach two more links together with a jump ring.
- 5). Open a jump ring, and slide it through the last two links of chain as they lay on wrist. Use this to also enclose the middle link from the first chain piece of the bracelet. This middle link will be the same link that is attached to the second chain. Close the jump ring.
- 6). Test your work by trying on the bracelet. Slide your middle finger through the chain loop. Wrap the bracelet chains around your wrist and clasp. Make a fist. If the chain feels tight, add a jump ring or extra chain links between the hand and wrist pieces. If it feels too loose, remove several chain links from the hand piece.
