Video: How to Apply Eye Shadow on Green Eyes
Video Transcript
I'm Sarah, professional makeup artist and licensed aesthetician, and I'm going to show you how to apply eyeshadow on green eyes. Now, for green eyes, they're pretty flexible with colors. I like to stick with warm colors for green eyes, and even like the brown family, soft browns and taupes, but apricots look great, peaches look great, and even dark plums and purples look good, too. So, what we're going to do, is we're going to start with a highlighter, and I'm going to use a nice, round, flat tip brush like this, and we are going to apply that all the way up to her brow bone, and out. And, then, I'm going to move on to our apricot color, and I'm going to apply that with my angled brush, and I'm going to start on the inside of the eye. And, the apricot and the gold blend very nicely together, and really picks up on the green in your eyes, and it's very nice. Going to take that all the way across, and then I'm going to move on to our darkest color, which is like a nice warm chocolate brown with a little bit of shimmer. I'm just going to put that in the crease, and all the way out. Follow the natural curve of her eyelid. Then, I'm going to come in and blend using my blending brush. I'm just going to create some soft circular motions with that. Okay. And, that is how to apply eyeshadow on green eyes. For more, you can check out GlowbySarah.com.
