- 1). Gather the clothes that you want to warm in the dryer. It is best to only warm a few items to reduce the amount of time it will take to complete.
- 2). Put the clothes in the dryer and set the dryer on a high heat cycle for about five minutes. If you like, you can add a dryer sheet to give the clothes a fresh scent and help remove any static.
- 3). Remove the clothes after the five minutes are through and check to be sure they are warm enough. Thicker items such as sweat pants or jeans might need more time to become warm. If you feel your clothes need more time, put them back in the dryer for an additional five minutes. Once your clothes are warm, wear them to help warm yourself up during cold weather.
