Traffic Exchange
Traffic Exchange
As a webmaster for over ten years, I've learned a lot of lessons. I really can't tell you how much money I've spent, but it's been a lot. Perhaps you can relate to the entrepreneurship of online marketing. Let's face it, some things work really well, others work pretty good, and then there are those that just don't meet the standards as effective. Now, I'm sure some you may disagree with me on this, but for me, and a recent little experiment of mine, I found that Traffic Exchanges just don't cut the mustard.
Just in case there are some out there who are oblivious to Traffic Exchange, it's basically a tradeoff. If I view an advertisement page, or perhaps click on an ad, I'll earn points that in turn allow my ad(s) to be viewed. "Surfing" which means you'll spend time going through page after page of advertisement to earn credits, enabling your ad to be shown. Now I must admit, the whole entire pitch doesn't sound bad. I mean, I'm getting folks to take a look at what I'm selling and hey that's an opportunity, right? Sorry, it's mostly wrong, and I'll tell you why.
Basically, people who sign up and go for the Traffic Exchange approach are much the same. It would be like trying to get two female fish to mate and conceive, it just doesn't go. For example, many Traffic Exchange ads are marketing Income Opportunities, and many people who are reading the ads are people pitching Income Opportunities, you get my point? Now, some say that's a good thing, after all there's an interest in Income Opportunities. Well , kind of, sort of, I mean it's not implausible, but I can tell you when I was in my Traffic Exchange phase the last thing I wanted to do was have someone pitching to me what I was trying to pitch to them.
So, are there any good Traffic Exchange options? Perhaps, there is an overlooked opportunity, pitch additional Traffic generating products. This is where you might just be able to make a difference. I would a many times click on an ad that offered a way to get traffic. So you see there is a wee bit opportunity to gain "targeted visitors" using Traffic Exchange. What follows are some recommendations as to what you should avoid when using Traffic Exchange marketing?
- Don't solely rely on Traffic Exchange as your marketing tool.
- Don't pay for Traffic or Credits, you'll just be paying to save time from surfing.
- Don't ignore establishing tracking when placing your ad on Traffic Exchange, you really need to see what's working, and ROI also can take into account the time you spend on surfing.
- Don't get caught up in the Traffic Exchange Sign up- basically signing up for Exchange after Exchange, you'll spend your life surging and mostly not seeing much in the line of orders.
