Chrysler 300 Specs

      The 300 is a near-luxury sedan from the Chrysler automotive company, producers of Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and all Chrysler-branded vehicles. The 300 was introduced in 2003 with 2005 being the first available model year. It is similar and build and type to the Dodge Charger, and as of 2010, the Chrysler 300 was still in production and available for purchase from the Chrysler Group.

    Engine and Transmission

    • The Chrysler 300 comes with a gas-powered V6 engine. It's displacement is 2.7 liters or 167 cubic inches. It is capable of 178 horsepower at 5,500 revolutions per minute and 190 foot-lbs. of torque at 4,000 revolutions per minute. The 300's engine uses a sequential multiple-point fuel injection system. The transmission in the Chrysler 300 is a four-speed automatic controlling a rear wheel drive drive train.

    • The weight of the Chrysler 300 is 3,725 lbs. It can pull a maximum trailer weight of 1,000 lbs. It has a 120-inch wheelbase, a 196.8-inch length, a 74.1-inch width, and a 58.4-inch height. The total volume of its trunk is 15.6 cubic feet. It can hold five passengers with 106.6 cubic feet of interior space in which to seat them. The capacity of the fuel tank is 18 gallons.

    • The Chrysler 300 is rated as having a 21 mpg fuel economy in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.
