Protecting Yourself With Leather
Motorcycle riding safety is a serious subject and should not be taken lightly.
Not only should you be conscious of other vehicles on the road that may not be paying attention to you, but you also need to be conscious of what you are wearing.
All motorcycle riders should take what they wear while riding a motorcycle serious.
It could mean the difference between safety and unnecessary damage not only to you as the rider, but your passengers as well.
One of the most careless and unsafe riding situations I've seen is someone riding a motorcycle while wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops at top speed on an expressway.
Not only is there no protection if forbid, an accident should happen, but one rock getting kicked up just right from the tire of a car can do some hefty damage.
One of my personal favorites is when the rider is wearing full riding gear, but the passenger is wearing shorts, t-shirt and cute little black shoes.
It is understandable that everyone not only wants to stay safe while riding on a motorcycle, but they also want to look stylish.
One of the best ways to protect yourself and your passengers while riding on the open road is wearing leather products.
By wearing leather products you will be able to accomplish both at the same time.
Leather will not only protect you from the elements of riding on the open road such as kicked up rocks, bugs, stones, and even black top patch for those who live in a state where the roads are constantly being worked on, but it allows your body to breath as well.
First let's start with protecting your upper body:
Unfortunately when we ride a motorcycle, we are being cautious of what is around us, but it does not necessarily mean that others are watching for us as well.
By taking a few extra steps to protect ourselves by wearing leather products, we can be less likely to be injured.
