The Ultra trim came equipped with a high-performance V-6 engine that cranked out 240 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 280 foot-pounds of torque at 3,600 rpm. • Both 1997 Buick Park Avenue trims featured six-passenger seating, and comfort features that included air-conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering and a multi-adjustable power driver seat. The base sedan's audio system included a cassette player, whereas the Ultra trim offered a CD player. A leather-appointed interior and heated front seats seats were featured as standard comforts in the Ultra trim but were unavailable in the base trim.
