How to Remove Gum From Cotton

    • 1). Place ice cubes inside a plastic bag.

    • 2). Place the plastic bag on top of the gum. Keep it there until the gum freezes and becomes hard.

    • 3). Slide a putty knife under the base of the gum to gently remove it from the cotton. Be careful not to damage the cotton fabric.

    • 4). Spray stain removal pre-treatment onto the area where the gum was. Let it sit on the stain for 10 minutes.

    • 5). Wash the cotton in a washing machine with laundry detergent.

    • 6). Let the cotton air-dry.
