Football Cake

• Football-shaped cake pans are available for purchase at most kitchen supply stores and online. Bake any flavor of cake you desire in the pan and then cover with brown icing. Use white icing to create the stitching and stripes on the football.
  
  

Football Field Cake

• Bake a sheet cake and cover it completely with green icing. Using a ruler as a guide, pipe white icing on as the yard lines, keeping them evenly spaced. Decorate the end zones with the names of the homecoming and opposing teams in the appropriate colors and create goal posts by gluing three straws into an "H" shape and sticking them into either end zone.
  
  

Football on the Field Cake

• Bake a sheet cake and a cake in a football-shaped pan. Cover the sheet cake in green frosting and place the football cake on top of the sheet cake and cover it in brown frosting. Use white frosting to add the details to the football and pipe messages of congratulations on the bottom cake in the school's colors.
