Ingredients required for this pasta dish is:
€ Dry penne pasta - 16 oz
€ Bacon - 6 slices
€ Minced garlic - 12 cloves
€ Broccoli - 3/4 lbs, chopped into small pieces
€ Pepper and salt - to taste
€ Grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
Preparation: You need to add water to a large pot. Then the penne needs to be boiled. Cook for 8 minutes and drain it. In a large skillet, place the bacon over medium heat and cook till it turns crispy and brown. Using paper towels drain it. Add the garlic to the bacon grease and cook it for 3 minutes over low heat. Add broccoli and keep cooking till it becomes bright-green in colour. Stir in pepper, salt and add the remaining garlic. Into the skillet, add the pasta and toss to coat. Mix in Parmesan cheese after removing it from the oven. Crumble in bacon and toss again. The lovely pasta dish is ready to be served.
Spinach and bacon with penne pasta
Ingredients:
€ Penne pasta - 12 oz
€ Olive oil - 2 spoons
€ Chopped bacon - 6 slices
€ Minced garlic - 2 spoons
€ Diced tomatoes - 14.5 oz
€ Spinach - 1 bunch, torn into bite-size pieces
Preparation: Bring salted water to boil. The penne pasta needs to be added and cooked till it becomes tender. Meanwhile, in a skillet, heat one spoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook till it turns crispy. Add garlic and again cook for one more minute and add tomatoes. Keep the spinach in a colander and drain the pasta over it in order to get it wilted. Transfer it into a serving dish and toss it with olive oil, tomato mixture and bacon.

€ Julienned red bell peppers - 2

€ Fat sour cream, reduced - 1 c
€ Chicken broth - 3/4 c
€ Grated Parmesan cheese - 3/4 c
€ Pepper and salt - to taste
Preparation: Bring lightly salted water to boil, add pasta and cook for 10 minutes. Drain the water from the pasta. Saut© red bell peppers in a large skillet; add the cayenne pepper, garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in broth and sour cream. Simmer it for 5 minutes and remove it from the heat.
