How to Do the Pincha Mayurasana Yoga Pose

    • 1). Come into downward facing dog with your forearms on the floor. Be sure to use a yoga mat. Stay close to a wall if you are new to the pose.

    • 2). Press your hands and forearms firmly into the floor.

    • 3). Broaden your chest and pull your shoulder blades together.

    • 4). Bend your right knee and kick with your left foot until your heels are resting against a wall.

    • 5). Stay here for up to a minute.

    • 6). Lower down slowly into child’s pose to rest.
