How to Crochet a Rasta Beret
- 1). Chain three with the crochet hook, using medium-weight yarn, and double crochet twice in each double crochet space; you’ll have 24 stitches. Join to the top of the chain three. Chain three, double crochet in the space below, double crochet in the next space, then double crochet twice in the third space. Continue this pattern until the last space; double crochet in this space once and join to the top of the chain three.
- 2). Chain three, double crochet in the space below, double crochet in the next three spaces, then double crochet twice in the next space. Repeat this pattern until the last space; double crochet once in the last space and join to the top of the chain three; this makes row four. Repeat this pattern for row five.
- 3). Chain three to begin row six; work one double crochet in the space below and in the next three spaces, then work two double crochets in the next space. Repeat this pattern until the end of the row, skip the last double crochet space, and join to the top of the chain three. Repeat this pattern for rows seven and eight.

Chain three to begin row nine, double crochet in the space below and in the next three spaces, then double crochet twice in the next space; repeat this pattern until the last space, double crochet once in this space and join to the top of the chain three.
