Safe Healing With Hypnotism
Hypnotism is a technique of inducing sleep on someone to achieve a particular purpose. A person can impose hypnotism on his or her own self, a situation known as self-hypnosis or voluntarily submit self to be hypnotized by others. In the period while one is in the hypnotic state, the mind dwells in the borderline, that is, one is semi-conscious, a condition in which the external awareness is subdued and the mind is temporarily freed to wander. During hypnosis the mind is in a trance, it can accept suggestions and obey instruction which the mind in the conscious will accept. In other words, you cannot force a command on a person who is hypnotized against his or her normal wish.
It is on this premise that healing can be transmitted to a sick person. A sick person who anticipates healing can easily be healed because of the preparedness of his mind to receive healing. Therefore, the first step in hypnotic healing is that the patient must be prepared for it. The process is actually simple, but seemingly unbelievable. Until people find themselves in a big hospital with excellent medical facilities and personnel, they cannot comprehend how treatment of serious ailments can be done. But please, hypnotism can heal! In a typical case, a hypnotist asks the patient to sit comfortably and breathe deeply a number of times, relax and visualize wave of peace moving slowly from the toes, through every organ of the body to the top of his or her head while closing the eyes. The patient does this. After the exercise is repeated for up to three times, the patient gradually gets completely relaxed. Sooner he goes into deep sleep. The hypnotist now gives instructions, directing the patient to mentally decree that the ailment should dissolve. The patient obeys. Similar instructions were repeated, which the patient also obeys. Half an hour later, the patient is awake, but cannot fully understand what transpired, only faint recollections wander through the mind. After a few more sessions with the hypnotist, the patient is healed – completely! What is happening? The subconscious or inner mind of the patient accepts the instructions and complies.
Everything we do externally has its beginning in the inner mind. A patient who got cured after a doctor's injection is cured partly because of the prior belief in the doctor and the injection. Certain patients, especially the illiterates hardly believe that any drug will work on them unless accompanied with injection. Most doctors know this and they always prescribe simple injection, if only to fulfill their patient's expectation and achieve good results.
Thus several ailments that defy sophisticated and intricate treatments can be easily eliminated with hypnotism, a situation where the patient is made to instruct the mind, and the mind which controls the body directs the departure of the disease. Ailments such as physiological and mental disorders can be treated with hypnotism. Time and space cannot permit further exposé on the subject, but certainly without even the simplest drug, hypnotism is a healer.
