- 1). Measure around the top and bottom of the oatmeal container and make marks one half inch apart.

Cut out notches between each half inch mark on both ends of the container. - 3). Choose the notch you are going to start stringing your loom at and cut down into the container a quarter inch. Slide the end of the yarn into this slit. This will keep the end of the yarn in place.
- 4). String your loom up and down, winding around the notches. This creates the vertical warp of your loom.
- 5). Poke a hole or make a small slit in one end of the popsicle stick and attach the yarn. Use the popsicle stick like a needle to weave in and out of the yarn going around the oatmeal container.
