How to Adjust Loupes

    • 1). Find the correct interpupillary adjustment. Turn the interpupillary adjustment knob, which is the middle of the three knobs on top of the loupes, until the image comes together into one circle. If you need to fine tune each individual lens to get a better clarity, do this with the knobs on either side of the interpupillary adjustment.

    • 2). Adjust the loupes to the correct angle for working by gently pushing down on the front ridge, which will make the lenses move down on their hinges. When you want to adjust the angle back up again, just push upward on the same ridge.

    • 3). Move back and forth slightly to find the best distance from which to focus on what you are working on. Loupes have a preset magnification, which varies between makes and models, so there will be an optimal distance from which to work.
