How to Get Scotch Tape Off a Wood Door
- 1). Use a dull knife to scrape the tape remnants off your door. Use the straight edge to avoid scratching your door.
- 2). Blow hot air on any remaining adhesive materials to loosen it further. Then use a dry sponge to scratch the adhesive off without scratching the door.
- 3). Use a deep stain remover to get rid of any remaining pieces. There are several commercial products available designed for getting deep stains or stuck-on material off of walls and doors.
