Starcraft 2 - Building the Impossible
Blizzard, makers of the World of Warcraft and Diablo video games, is truly taking its time with Starcraft 2, which has now been in production for over 4 years, fine tuning every aspect of the game play as if its livelihood depended upon it.
"Why?" you ask, since Blizzard has 10 million monthly subscribers with Wow generating a staggering 120 million dollars...

See, well first off Blizzard doesn't rush anything when it comes to games, the company motto seems to be "It will be ready when its done", something other game developers could learn from.
Second, not the main reason but a big one Starcraft is practically the national sport of South Korea, they freakin' love it! That's why when the game is released to the world it will be first available in SK.
But mainly I say blizzard is building the impossible is because when this game goes live it will have more people playing it than in the history of gaming! With that kind of pressure everything must be perfect and balanced as to make all the hardcore players that will play the game a 100+ hours happy.
With the release of Starcraft 2 Blizzard is also implementing a new and improved version of Battle.
net.

net is that the player will be able to chat with his/her friends while they are playing other blizzard games.
