How to Clean Stainless Steel With Olive Oil

- 1). Clean your stainless steel item with mild dish soap, and rinse well.
- 2). Dampen the terry cloth and wipe down your stainless steel item. If you look closely at it, you may see a light grain. Wipe the steel in the same direction as the grain.
- 3). Place a small amount of olive oil on a fresh terry cloth, and rub any stains or prints that you see in a small, circular motion. If you were able to distinguish the grain, then rub along the grain. Continue this process until you have removed the stains.
- 4). Give your product a final shine by adding more olive oil to the cloth, and rubbing down your entire stainless steel item. You will not need a lot of oil, as it will smoothly spread over the stainless steel.
