Polish Cuisine

I like cooking and everything that is connected to culinary work.
I always try to taste new cuisines and I feel really encouraged to go to Poland after reading one interesting article.
It is about the cook who describes what and where people eat in this country.
As I like discovering the things myself I thought it is a great idea to follow his pieces of advice.
I packed my rucksack and I went to Poland.
Of course, I planned the travel previously surfing the Internet, reading books, articles, Polish websites.
I can confirm the other author's words that Poland offers a wide variety of dishes.
The cuisine is mostly based on soups, potatoes and meat.
In general, the food is well collaborated, I was told that the national dish called "bigos" needs at least a couple of days to be ready for eating.
I suppose each country has different cooking habits and ingredients to collaborate the dishes.
Polish cuisine has clear flavours and they are rather acid and salty.
As for the restaurants, there are many that offer traditional Polish food but you can also find many other where you can try Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, French, Italian cuisines.
Obviously, I rather went for trying Polish dishes.
I have to admit that I've eaten my best pizza in Lodz.
It was incredibly big and with a lot of ingredients, I can recommend the one with mushrooms.
The best thing is that you can eat and drink a lot and you don't have to pay too much.
As I understood from the other author's words, Polish people are nice and friendly.
Indeed they are.
I met many Polish people who were very helpful regarding the language.
Polish is very difficult and sometimes I found difficulties with the pronunciation of the words.
Even though it was a bit complicated they were very understanding.
