How to Make Lemons Decorative
- 1). Fill a glass bowl with lemons. Stick artificial flowers in between the lemons for a pretty table decoration. Alternately, place a wide candle in the center of the bowl and arrange lemons around the candle.
- 2). Slice lemons with a paring knife and place the slices in a tall glass vase. Fill the vase with water and flowers for a striking centerpiece. Mix lime slices in with the lemon slices for an even brighter, more colorful centerpiece.
- 3). Turn lemons into place card holders with a simple toothpick and place card. Stick the place card on the end of the toothpick with double stick tape, then poke the toothpick into the lemon. Set a place card lemon at each person's table setting for an interesting way to let guests know where their seats are.
- 4). Garnish drinks with lemons. Cocktails, iced tea and even water look a little classier with a lemon slice squeezed into them or hanging on the side of the glass. Cut lemons into round slices, or slice rounds in half to make attractive, decorative drinks.
