An Arresting Development - One Life to Live Recap for Tuesday, October 6, 2009
Todd and Tea have a confrontation. Not knowing that the divorce papers were a fraud Tea tells Todd she’s only married to him. She explains to Todd that she was once married to Rayburn but got a divorce. Todd informs her that Blair told him the truth that she’s still married to Ross. Tea realizes that Ross and Blair set up a hoax. Todd is disgusted with Tea and wants Tea out of his house and then explains that he’ll be perfectly fine being single.
Tea wants to know what his kids were going to think and Todd tells her she shouldn’t care because they aren’t her kids and never will be. Tea pleads for him to reconsider, but he ends up slamming the door in his face. Blair demands Ross tell her the entire truth behind the secret Tea is hiding. The only way Ross will spill the beans is if Blair washes her hands of Todd and starts a relationship with him. Blair doesn’t get the satisfaction she wants from Rayburn. Blair tells him she’s hasn’t dropped the kidnapping charges and holds it over him.
Rex gets tickets to a movie Gigi wants to see, while Kim overhears and buys tickets for her and Schuyler. Gigi grows jealous when she notices Kim making out at the movie theater with Schuy. Gigi makes a scene and has Rex take her out for drinks instead. When Rex asks if she was jealous that Schuyler was dating and she answers that she doesn’t want him dating Kim. Stacy waits at the café for her partner in crime to return. Oliver hears Stacy yell at a waitress about how she could serve a raw hamburger to a pregnant woman.
Oliver presumes that the baby is his and becomes overwhelmed. Stacy assures him that it isn’t and Oliver voluntarily offers to babysit at any time. Later Kim tells Stacy that their plan is working smoothly.
John confronts Jared about knowing the stalker. He announces that Landers was a fellow inmate while Jared was in prison and that they recently were in contact with each other. Jared confesses that his fingerprints will be on the murder weapon only because he picked it up as Natalie witnessed him. John asks Fish to come over to Llanfair to check out Jared’s computer, which Jared gets very protective of. Fish comes across numerous money transfers between Jared and the mysterious stalker. Jared believes he’s been framed, but Bo and John have no other choice but to arrest him for Landers death. Natalie grows emotional and promises to help out her husband.
