Adam Threatens Billy With Jail if Jack Reveals He"s Alive on Y&R
Ever since Adam (Justin Hartley) revealed his true identity to Jack (Peter Bergman), Jack has had a dilemma: Does he call the police and tell them that Adam is alive -- he just has a new face? Or does he do what Adam asks for and introduce Adam as Gabriel to the folks in Genoa City on The Young and the Restless?
It isn't an easy decision to come to because Billy (Burgess Jenkins) has finally turned the corner on Delia's death and he is happy again.
If Jack reveals that Adam is alive, it could send Billy on a downward spiral. On the other hand, Jack wants Adam to pay for his crimes. Even if he really didn't see Delia on the road when his car struck her, and even if he didn't see her when he got out of the car to see what he hit, Jack believes that Adam should have come forward after the truth was revealed. The fact that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) had agreed to donate Delia's corneas to Adam's son Conner did complicate the matter, but Jack wants Adam to pay for the fact that Billy ruined his marriage to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) as a result of the hit-and-run death of his daughter.
Even after Adam reminds Billy that when Stephanie OD'd in Jack's house and Adam rushed to his rescue, Jack tells Adam that he can't stay quiet. He pulls out his cell to call the police, when Adam tells Jack that the reason that Billy made it home safe and Adam didn't is -- dramatic pause -- Adam lifts up his shirt and reveals the bullet wound where Billy shot him.
Adam points out that if Jack reveals that Adam is alive, and he goes to jail, Billy will be right there with him. Does Jack want that?
Also this week on Y&R, Neil (Kristoff St. John) finally tells someone about the candle flame he saw when Hilary (Mishael Morgan) lit the Christmas candle. Phyllis is excited for Neil, who may finally be getting his sight back -- just as he was accepted into a program to help him do just that. But, the fact that Neil is keeping the vision flash a secret may just cause him to see something he won't want to see: an intimate moment between Hilary, his wife, and Devon (Bryton James), his son, who can't keep their hands off each other since they decided they were in love.
And Lilly (Christel Khalil), who has finally accepted Hilary, puts pressure on Devon, not knowing that he is having an affair with his father's wife. Lily reveals to him that Neil told her that his blindness made him want to drink again -- more than anything that happened since he quit. What kept him from picking up a glass was Hilary. He loves her too much to go down the alcoholic road once again, especially since her mother was also an alcoholic. Long-time fans will remember it was that fact that brought Hilary to Genoa City in the first place. She wanted Neil to pay for her mother's death since she felt he was responsible since they were drinking buddies when her mother died.
