Happily Every After? Marriage Takes Work!

As people today search for purpose, meaning and value, many are experiencing a pervasive sense of emptiness and isolation. And why wouldn't they? In a world flooded with distresses like father absence, abuse, violence, marital discord, and emotional problems there is a natural epidemic of escapism through consumerism, drugs, alcohol, sex, and suicide. We believe that the answer to the peace that the world seeks is found only in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The problem that people are facing is a spiritual one. And so must be the cure.

At we are here to pray with you and help guide you to the only one that can bring the relief and peace that you may be seeking. Whether it's in your marriage, an abusive situation, depression or some other emotional problem, we pray that you will allow God to show you who He is as He touches your life through us.

Philippians 4:6-7 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

I don't know about you but I find marriage to be hard work. I love my husband dearly and everything in me wants to have an awesome marriage; one of mutual respect, consideration, great love making, great communication, great intimacy, a desire to want to share everything, and so on. But, I have found that these things don't come natural. When I'm feeling good about things and just want to be snuggled up under him may not necessarily be a good time for him and vice versa. I might be going through one of my menopausal moments when he wants to be close to me and I may say something to him the wrong way, which may lead to some harsh words. Us growing together and responding to each other in a way that's loving is not how it always happens, no matter how much we may want it to. So, we both recognize that we need help to make this thing work.

I have found this awesome website that provides many great tips and advice on how to do this thing called marriage. I have gained a different perspective on some areas that I couldn't see before, thanks to them. I don't want to be another divorce statistic. Pass this on to all the couples that you know. It may just save someone's marriage http://marriageworks2go.com/?ap_id=marynjesus
