Theater Arts Schools
- The Juilliard School is located in New York City at Lincoln Center. The theater program offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting, as well as an Artist Diploma for playwrights. - Located in Los Angeles, the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television offers Master of Fine Arts degrees in acting, design, directing, playwriting, and theater studies. A Bachelor of Arts in theater is also available to undergraduate students. Students in the theater program at UCLA are able to collaborate with filmmakers and theater professionals working in Los Angeles and Hollywood. Prospective applicants are required to complete an online application, and may be required to audition for the faculty within their chosen department.
- The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in England offers training in acting, music and technical theater. The Guildhall School awards Master of Arts degrees to students in the three-year acting. vocal training and movement training programs. Students interested in attending the Guildhall School must successfully complete three auditions. Tuition for study varies according to the student's country of origin: students residing outside of the European Union must pay a significantly higher tuition rate.
