How to Clean Marble Thresholds

    • 1). Sweep or dust-mop the threshold. You should do this regularly to keep dirt and grit to a minimum.

    • 2). Fill a mop bucket halfway with warm water, add a squirt of mild dish detergent, and swish to combine. Dip a soft cloth in the liquid, and wipe the threshold clean.

    • 3). Apply a stone cleaner to the surface according to package directions to remove stains or stubborn grime. Test cleaners on a small section of the marble before cleaning the entire threshold or floor.

    • 4). Wipe the threshold dry with a soft cloth after cleaning, or any time the surface gets wet, to avoid water marks.
