Top 5 Romantic Holiday Tips

Even if you're not on your honeymoon, sometimes you just want to go away with your loved one for a fantastic week or two at a luxury holiday destination.
Whether you're getting away from the kids or just a few nosy pets, there's no question that you want to revamp your romance for this one special holiday.
Here are five of my favourite tips to help you get the maximum romance potential out of your special luxury holiday.
Even if you're not going on a luxury holiday, these tips can help you find a little extra romance in your normal lives as well.
1.
Have an adventure.
Whether you're exploring a new city, an archaeological ruin, or just an unfamiliar street together, discovering new and exciting places can bind you together as a couple in a way that few other things can.
And if you're on holiday, you'll want to get to everything your luxury holiday destination has to offer.
Poking around without a tour guide could lead to some great discoveries and you'll have come upon them together, creating fun memories.
2.
Go out for a fancy dinner date.
What says romance better than a fancy dress, a suit, and an expensive meal? It may be consumerism, but it works.
And nothing will get you in the mood more quickly than a silky red dress that you know you look fantastic in.
Even if you can't afford the fanciest restaurant in the city, dress up anyway; the servers have seen it all before and you'll love the admiring glances the two of you attract.
Feeling like you're on a date can remind you of the early days of your relationship and bring back the passion and excitement of a new relationship.
3.
Plan a night in with a romantic film and a candlelit dinner you've made together.
This is one of the best ideas I can think of for romance in any place.
Say you're nature lovers and head off to a self-catering cabin for the weekend, where you have to make all your own food.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to choose luxurious ingredients that perhaps you wouldn't bother with in normal life, open up a bottle of wine, and just enjoy the best food that you can possibly make together.
Even if you're just looking to amp up the romance of a night at home, this is a fantastic idea.
4.
Go for a walk at twilight.
Hold hands and pretend you're teenagers again.
Find the most beautiful spot in your destination and watch the sun set together.
This is perfect for beach holidays in particular.
You'll be surprised how romantic a long walk on the beach truly is, but it also works if you're just strolling down a tree-lined street or a city block.
What's important is setting aside time to simply enjoy each other's company.
5.
Have breakfast in bed.
Whether you order in room service or one of you gets up and makes breakfast, this is the perfect prelude to a romantic morning spent in bed.
Settle in for some leisurely time together and resolve not to get up until noon - ignore everything else and just luxuriate together.
