Springwood Conference Center

• The Springwood Conference Center (springwood.org) is located on 60 acres of wooded hills outside the town of Verona approximately 30 minutes northeast of Pittsburgh. This multi-purpose conference center is a venue for business functions as well as weddings and receptions. Wedding ceremonies can be performed both indoor or outdoor on the property. For larger weddings, it offers an outdoor Garden Square, which is surrounded by garden trellises to create an intimate atmosphere. The center provides a variety of wedding packages that includes tables and natural chivari-wood chairs, linens, stemware as well as the use of the sound system and piano for live entertainment. Green Gables Restaurant

• The Green Gables Restaurant (greengablesrestaurant.com) is located outside of Jennerstown approximately 60 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. The property offers wedding and reception services with a choice of six different areas that includes three indoor terraces that overlook the property and its natural waterfall and an outdoor patio, which provides views of the stream and the property's lush lawns. All weddings and receptions include floral arrangements and candles for the tables as well as table linens. The property is reminiscent of a Tuscan villa and it offers wedding and reception space for up to 400 guests in its 18,000-square-foot facility. On-site ceremonies can be held near the private pond, the balcony with curved staircase, the redwood wine cellar or near the 22-foot stone fireplace. • The Chadwick (chadwickevents.com) is a banquet facility located north of Pittsburgh in the town of Wexford. It offers an outdoor patio area for wedding ceremonies that includes seating for up to 200 guests, an on-site coordinator, and a trellis for the event. After the ceremony, receptions are held in the classic ballroom with a maximum capacity of up to 700 people. It offers a variety of wedding packages for both afternoon and evening weddings that includes every detail ranging from decorative centerpieces and specialized menus to the choice of wedding cakes and dessert.
