How to Write a Killer Presell That Will Place You Above Your Competition
Do you get frustrated that your visitors are just not clicking over to the vendor's sales page? Everyday you check your stats and find that you just can't seem to break even? Are you a newbie affiliate marketer and just unsure of how to write a presell or where to start? Unbelievably writing the presell page is half the battle when it comes to affiliate marketing.
You'll be surprised to learn that it is one of the biggest element of affiliate marketing that they get wrong.
Why? Because they either don't plan their presell very well or they have no clue what they need to do to write it.
The problem is, when it comes to writing a presell there is not as much information out there on writing one, as there is when it comes to other elements of Internet Marketing.
Most information out there about writing is tailored to writing sales copy rather than presell pages.
I'll let you in to a little secret...
You don't need to actually sell the product per se.
Your role is to give that product a kinda endorsement.
The vendor is going to be the one who's going to hammer then with fancy spiel.
They are the ones that need to draw them deeper and deeper into their copy and close that ultimate sale.
Your role is to give then a justification on why they should get this particular product and not another similar product.
It's a sad fact but people look for something that will give then a reason not to buy something.
Think about for a moment...
Say you want to buy a book or a TV.
It can be anything really, but taking the book as an example and your on a website like amazon and you're wanting to buy a book on weight loss, for example, that you have found.
Do you just whip out your credit card and just buy it? After all, who gives a crap what other people got from the book? Hmmm maybe but doubtful.
You nearly always, 9 times out of 10 will read the reviews about that book.
What you'reactually looking for is a justification as to why you should or shouldn't buy the book.
The bad reviews count just as much as the good although a bad review will not necessarily stop you from buying it but it gives you something to think about and the may still go and buy the book anyway.
That really depends on how much you want the book.
And that's really what writing a presell is all about.
Obviously you need to get it right and there are a lot more components that you need to think about when writing a presell.
