So what should you do if your wife tells you she wants to leave so that she can decide if she wants to stay married? First, you need to give her the space she needs.
Second, you need to decide if this is a pattern in your relationship.
If the two of you threaten divorce every time you fight, or if you have separated before, you may need to prepare for the worst.
But if this is a new twist in your relationship, keep in mind that there is hope.
If your wife has left so she can think, it means that there is part of her that wants to stay married.
Otherwise, if she was truly done with the relationship she would have left already.
