Dig Into Yourself to Discover Why the Breakup Happened

Did your partner just break off the relationship and you are wondering, "What the heck"? Were you shocked to find out that your partner was unhappy in your relationship enough to tell you it is over? If you really want to discover why and have hope for mending fences there are a few things you can try.
Compare the beginning of your relationship to the end of your relationship.
Take out pen and paper or get on your computer and start thinking...
Make two columns and in the first column write about what you remember about when you first met.
What first attracted them to you and vice-versa? What did you talk about, what are you both interested in, etc.
Take some time to think about this, be honest and as complete as possible.
Now think about the ending of your relationship.
Take your time and really put some good thought into this activity.
In the second column write down what was happening at the end of your relationship.
What is the attraction you are still feeling? What kind of things do you both share? Do you like to do the same things? When you have completed your lists you should have some good information about what happened from the beginning greatness of the relationship to the final straw that made your partner decide to end the relationship.
No you can decide what you want to do with this information.
Do you want to try and salvage and fix the relationship? The ball is in your court...
