Nobody likes a person who snores especially if the snore is so loud that it is disturbing others to get to sleep.
The snoring stopping solutions presented here will be a very good resource in terms of helping people who snore loudly to stop snoring.
1) Use snore pillows You can try to use snore pillows as these pillows are specially designed to stop snoring.
These pillows are specially design so that your neck will not fall back and hence snoring will not happen.
The cost of this pillow is higher as compared to the normal pillow.
However, the slight premium that you pay is nothing compared to the benefits that you have - a good night sleep without snoring.
2) Stop taking alcohol Alcohol can cause you to snore.
If you like me, have friends that love to drink then you will understand what I mean.
I am a light drinker but the same cannot be said of my friend.
Sometimes when we are out drinking together, he will always out-drink me.
Well! The problem came when we get to our hotel room.
My friend will just drop dead on the bed, sleep and start snoring while I will be struggling to sleep.
Sometimes I will bring along a pair of ear-plug just to make sure that I block out some of the snoring noise.
3) Have your last meals 3 hours prior to sleep When you eat before going to sleep, the food in your stomach will create pressure to your diaphragm and this pressure will cause snoring to happen.
To overcome this problem, you are advised to take your meals earlier (minimum 3 hours prior to your bedtime) so that the food eaten will have plenty of time to be digested.
4) Avoid sleeping pills and other relaxants You can take sleeping pills to have good rest at night.
However, do you know that taking sleeping pills and other relaxants increase your chances of snoring? Taking sleeping pills is not a long-term solution if you can't sleep.
You need to find a way to rest and sleep at night.
Stop taking these pills and you will reduce your chances of snoring.
Seek professional help if you have problem sleeping at night.
5) Clear your nasal passage If you sleep with a stuffy nose, chances are you will snore.
A stuffy nose will block the air flow inside the throat and eventually causing snoring to happen.
To overcome this, you can clear your nasal passage with a good nasal spray that you can get at your local pharmacy.
Just a single spray and this will do the job of clearing your nasal for a more smooth air flow in the throat.
With these 5 snoring stopping methods presented above, I am sure you can use some of them to stop your snoring.
Remember, snoring is not only bad for your sleeping partner, it also brings pressure to you when you try to sleep at night.
